Greyman

The Greyman is a synthetic breed formed by the Murray Grey and Brahman, born in the State of Queensland, Australia, in the Decade of the ´70. This makes it a biotype adapted to tropical and subtropical environments very rigorous.

The Murray Grey breed brings to the Greyman a huge plus of quality through their fertility, sexual precocity, meekness, ease of delivery, udder quality, skin and mucous membranes Pigmented, color clear, ease of fat, and housing performance. For its part the Brahman brings rusiticidad and tolerance to intense heat and ectoparasites.

Animals of the breed are always gray and short hair. For the creation of the breed in the Argentina, always had a fully productive criterion. So we used a biotype Murray Grey 100 % functional, of moderate size, very good conformation butcher and free from any influence of the "New Type", i.e., an animal suitable for the Argentine pastoral systems. Also, for the Brahman bulls, the selection was very rigorous, seeking fertile animals, structurally correct and muscular, giving special importance to the characteristics of the foreskin and that animals were polled.
