Murray Grey
The breed is native to the Murray Valley, on the border of new South Wales and Victoria States, in Australia.
The hair color is typically greyish ("Silver") with shades of dark to clear, combined with mucous membranes Pigmented, and they have the characteristic of being polled natural. Mothers are characterized by being very good and highly fertile breeders, It helps to achieve high percentages of weaning and heavy calves, In addition to not present difficulties to the delivery. They are docile animals, with an adult size males of 750 to 800 kg and females of 470 kg, on average. They have the quality of play in an outstanding way, both grazing systems and feed lot, allowing to obtain trouble free, steers for domestic consumption and export.
They produce tender meat with the proper marbling, reaching an appropriate level of fat easily, and they have a high percentage of performance of meat to be slaughtered.
